Mile Oak is an attractive older style house which has been carefully adapted to provide a comfortable and fully equipped residential care home for the elderly. The home enjoys half an acre of attractive flat, lawned gardens where residents can enjoy the sunshine reading or having tea with family and friends. Of particular note is the oak tree which is over 300 years old, and from which Mile Oak’s name was derived.
At Mile Oak, we have a fully trained care team who are chosen for their warmth, kindness and understanding of caring for the elderly. Privacy and dignity are always considered and respected. It is our practice to involve residents in developing their own care plan, ensuring that individual needs are met. Most of all, Mile Oak is successful in achieving peace of mind and personal fulfillment in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Each Bedroom is centrally heated with en-suite facilities. All rooms are fitted with an emergency call system, and telephone points. There is also a passenger lift giving access to the first floor.
Wimborne is a very quaint little market town in Dorset not far from Mile Oak. Wimborne Minster is situated in the centre of the town surrounded by shops selling day to day necessities.
